Nokie e61

Hi there

I am moving to Qatar soon, and am bringing my Nokia e61 which I use here in South Africa for emails, internet and phone calls. Will I be able to do the same once I am there?

I really enjoying having my emails pushed to my phone and hope I can get 3G over there.

Any ideas how I go about getting a phone card either prepaid or postpaid? Do they come with 3G, is it easy to setup?

Your mobile model is workable here also. Qatar has also got highly profiled telecommunication equips and technologies. Welcome to Qatar

Yes, you can use your phone and it is easy to set up with Qtel (our 1 and only network here).

You can get a pre-paid sim for QR 200 (it is way expensive so don't convert to rands!) and switching from pre-paid to post paid is easy. Once you're here you won't have to worry about communicating! :)
