dont you simply get heartbroken when you see a stray old dog (which is indeed a rarity this part of the world) lying without food and water...doesnt it give you a funny feeling in the stomach when you see animals being treated cruely or worse still being given the 'I dont care a d*%#' attitude?

If you could just keep trying to set food out for this dog, some clean cool water and some shade...I'm sure the dog will appreciate it. Being treated so poorly is so inhumane...how can people do that to an animal is beyond me...at least have the decency to untie the dog and let him fend for himself would be a much kinder life than being tied without food, water or shelter. But that's just my humble opinion because at least he has a chance of finding someone to care for him if he can dodge the cars and kids that torture animals for fun.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you; that is the main difference between a dog and man.

So an Indian that does not like Spice.... odd!!

And I am sure if 'sugar' is given by the right individual... you'll love it :-P

I am so sorry, I assumed you were a Brother.

The fact you are a Sister, makes the reply even more beautiful.

they're everywhere - either extremely scary and huge, or extremely malnourished and tiny.

that's it! i agree completely. these guys have no concern whatsoever to the life around them. and to make matters worse he ties up the dog outside all night.

and when i'm getting out in the morning i see him scratching all over the floor cos its so friggin' hot outside ...oh! horrible.

do you have a dog at home, mintus

I would tie the owner up with no food or water for 24 hours in the sun.

To begin with, I have a dog at home...well, not mine,- he belongs to the owner, who obviously doesnt give a s**#. All this dog gets is a bowl full of dried up chicken legs, which is most often pecked at by the birds...Now the dog is so used to this treatment that he doesnt even attempt eating it.

Tried feeding him a couple of times but again, he simply wont eat! My heart goes out to him, but i cant do anything!
