Is this the normal trend?

May be its just me, but I have certainly felt that the last couple of days were a lot pleasant compared to the 10 days before that in terms of the outside temperatures, especially in the evenings.

Since this is my first summer in Qatar, I would just like to know from seasoned QLers if this is normal? Should I think the worse is over or is it just an illusion.

Contrary to what I have felt the ministry of labour has issued a directive about outdoor working times for summer only yesterday (or the day before).

After every match there will be colourful fights between rival fans, Men walking around with wounds to the head and blood rushing down their face will be a common sight.

There will one lady for every 10 football fans who be travelling alone in the bars. Hope Russia and China both make it to the finals others ladies from these countries will find it very hard to obtain visas to come to Qatar during the beautiful summer of 2022..

yes Nic just like the summer of 69..:)

Wait for July August. It is not just the humidity, it is really hot in the afternoons.

Ask the guys who are out in the field.

I have heard and read this several times on QL as well.. Its just that the temperatures were soaring at the beginning of June and all of a sudden felt some respite over the last couple of days..

The temperatures in July & August dont count, its the humidity which effects the heat index making it feel like over 50C.

I shouldn't be reading too much into the temperatures over the last couple of days..

The average high during the month of July and August keeps hovering around 41 deg C and low at 29, which is not bad. Things get worse when humidity sets in with typical Doha dripping effect. This weather especially during the night is expected to continue for a little longer than expected. Enjoy it for now...good for outing during the evenings.
