to all women lives independent here in doha please be careful walking in the streets specially when you pass to a street without lights whether its near or far from your place just be extra careful. Its better if you carry something a spray or anything to protect yourself. This is true happening that there is always a MAN who is ready or will always take advantage on the situation.. I live in al saad and i experience that this place is not safe at all as i thought :(

what type of 'advantage' of the situation do they exactly take? :)

I used to live in Al Saad for couple of years, it was totally safe.. or may be I just never walked on the streets?

Also depends on which side of Al Saad you are talking about. The one behind Royal Plaza, around Food Palace actually is quite unpleasant, while the opposite side is kind of Ok. Anyway, stay safe..

agree with UK, personal safety should always be taken seriously...carry some kinda safety things like pepper spray, small pocket knife, safety shoes, or some kinda defensive items along with you whenever you are walking alone specially after the dark....

By GodFather.• 19 Jan 2012 07:24
GodFather.

No place is Safe. Personal Safety should always be taken seriously.
