What are we breathing?

Below is a small experiment done by my friend, he put ordinary paper tissue on the ac return grill and in only TWO DAYS, look at the particles stuck on the tissue!
He doesn't live in the industrial area, he doesn't live near any petrol station or the highway!
I know that the solution might vary from buying an air purifier or, as extreme as, leaving the country!
However, I leave the comments for you.
@Thelonius You must be fun at parties
@blisteringbarna you are correct, district cooling is much better, however the concept of AC's is not different when it comes to types of cooling. The idea is to circulate the air inside the room after reducing its temperature.
my discussion was not about the type of cooling, the shocker was the quality of air particles that was so obvious in only two days!
And for the retards who are trying to be smart, although they don't have an IQ of a shoe, shut the f**k up.
This is something for serious discussion so get the f**k out of my posts and go play with your selves somewhere else.
That is at my friends house, I have a split unit. I will do the same experiment in my house although referring to my knowledge in AC's, there will be no difference.
oxygen
...
Thats why some places in Qatar have district cooling where inspite of the heaviest sandstorm not a spec enters the room...
If you keep that tissues there the motor might die... better to keep thin cloth...
1 question, what is nearer to your nose? the AC or your mouth? that is what you breath and smell. period.
all the dust around us is not getting 'directly' (as shown in pics here) to our lungs; our body has its own protection/filter system;
IMO, Doha air is still not as bad as other industrial cities
If your nasal hair and tonsils are not doing the job, go for an electrostatic precipitator...:)
Change yr window ac to Split Unit ac and give comparision
The clean tissue is for comparison.
