One information my mind won't be able to process: why on earth would you visit your dead husband's relatives when you didn't even have a relationship with the boy's father? Think much?

As an outsider on this case it seems smimple. One parent died so the living parent gets custody unless it can be proved they are not a fit parent. However the extended family in this case kidnapped the child and the courts in Qatar ignored the child's wishes. So Qatar is destroying this child's life with an experience he will find very hard to recover from.

Seriously.... Qatar needs to wake up and smell the coffee with this one. The story is gaining momentum, and it does not portray Qatar in a very good light. Cone on Qatar.... do the right thing.

Always the poor chld suffers but in Qatar she has no chance with the legal system. I see the Britisher PM has got involved and that is probably the best chance they have. Shame the country into giving her access.

for those that don't want to read the article it is about the British boy who is still being held by his deceased father's relatives.
