TO ALL KABAYAN: I NEED YOUR ADVICE

I have a situation that I need to choose between which is right for my family.
I’d been in Qatar for 1 year and 7 months. My wife is a Civil Engineer; we work with the same construction company but with different projects. I was assigned in Ras Laffan and she’s in Messaied. To cut the story short I resigned my post because of problem (physical and emotional stress) with my former Project Manager (PM). We went home here in the Philippines last Sept. 2008 for the reason that I resigned, second my wife is on vacation and my mother’s visit visa will expire, lastly our 6 month baby girl will stay here for good. My wife is still working with that company up to now, there project will end on October 2009. And the management already informed them that they will transfer to a new project. She has no problem working with her PM. For almost 1 year that I am applying for work in Middle East of course through agency, I can say it’s very hard because of recession and until now I’m still here. I don’t know maybe its GOD’S will that there is something, HE wants me to lead. Three months ago, I found an advertisement for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I got the job, actually the 90 days visa is already stamped on my passport and I’m waiting for the ticket from the agency. They told me that my tentative flight will be on the 26th of August (I don’t sign anything like contract or offer letter neither placement fee paid with the agency/employer until now)
My wife is already homesick and depressed because of our situation. Last week she requested my former employer, so that I can work with them and be with my her in Qatar. Yesterday her PM is asking my passport copy for the visa process (I don’t know how they will process it because my working visa is canceled by my former employer). I want to be with my wife badly and same with her, it’s hard if one’s family is not attached. And I don’t need to wait for another one year so that my ban in Qatar will be lifted.
I need your advice, I want to grab that opportunity to be with my wife but I am thinking that the agency will ban/blacklist me in going out of the country. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

its really difficult to be away with your other half.

the good news is though your employer cancelled your visa you can still come back here if they will rehire you. No need to wait for 2 years. so go and pack up!

they will just reactivate the VISA that has been cancelled.

It is still the best decision to be with your wife no matter what.

As far as I know,

the company who cancelled you can reactivate the visa by signing up the application form and submitting it to the Immigration Department.

Good luck!
