2012 Olympics - Yeah, True but then people like you who maybe on family status will want to shop at the malls reserved for them so you can save some pennies and also maybe find some cheap thrills at their female reservations

Best to keep bachelors in special housing zones and shopping in their own malls.  They do not belong in family areas--too much the noise and smell and what else.  They make it unsafe for good families.  For those of you that pity them, remember that they came to Qatar of their choosing and are paid their fair wages.  They are provided shelter according to the contract. This is a very good law.

They are treating bachelors like hen in cage...

Nice... then this would be a interesting place just like the imaginary first world.Hide them or keep them busy at work on site with small inducements like paltry overtime and get them out only when you want the world to have a look at them.

btw postman pat.... u forgots tht family in "their" dictionary does include single women...after all they dont have problems entering the malls..now do they? nah

i say... in some ways this is good...coz...its gonna bring rents down (hoping)....and in some ways its bad coz this is gonna make it like ghettos....same as district 9.. :-p

brit, spinsters are women who are over the age when they should be married. An unmarried women in her 20s cannot be called a spinster!

This is a great idea. It will stop all the headaches. Will spinsters still be allowed to carry on living in family areas and causing marital disharmony ?

So bachelorrettes can ask for additional compensation for this additional government sponsored harrassment.

One more reason to resign... There's nothing really special here in Qatar, if not for a higher salary a sacrifice to stick around... Nah, good bye soon...

If it is ture MOFA has to increase their working time and counters as a huge traffic will hit them to get the stamp on marriage certificates.

Yeah good for the bachelors. Now they can avoid the attention of bored housewives and other damsels wanting to have a quickie while husband is away on the job.

On the Wakra beach there will be a huge tent row to accomodate the bachelors...in the morning around 4.30 to 5.30 they will be at beach to fresh themselves with empty curd buckets to take bath and other things....in the evening they will clean the place and barbeque food for them.....Heeeee Heeeee......All roads heading to that place will have huge NEGRO guards to save them from eve teasings...Heeee Heeee

I believe that there will be a fenced off area behind the Industrial Area where the countries bachelor population is going to be housed starting in 2012 - I'm just saying ............

On a more positive front, families will not be allowed into the fenced off area on friday's.

I heard there is a law in the planning to kick out ALL bachelors. Only families will live in Qatar, and the staring will finally have an end.
