Hello Dear Mr. David,
First of all you are more than welcome here in Qatar
there is an upcoming holiday here which will be between 8 - 18 of Sep. so it will be better to come after it, because you will need to process your medical checkup, finger-print, resident permit ... etc
I am working in Hamad Medical Hospital, if you need any help contact me [email protected]
hope that you will enjoy your time here
regards.
Please give your company in brief.
Salwa road is the one of the busy road in Doha.
But it’s far from city center…
Salwa Road Industrial Area is not in the city centre. That being said, it is not in a remote area either, it's about 30mins drive from the centre of the city to there and sometimes the traffic is annoying.
Ask you wife to join the Mums group here on QL, she will probably like it. Transport will not be a problem if both of you drive, if not, then there are always taxi's, although the govt. run taxi's can be quite a pain sometimes. There are also limo services for a higher fare, but reliable.
Hope you enjoy your time here, Good Luck! :-)
