I would personally refer to the Chinese at the Oasis as "working girls" myself. Though "Blue Collar" does imply physical labour. :D

Try out Chopsticks at the Grand Regency - Outstanding Food, good surroundings, reasonable price.... No alcohol!!! and a little quiet but if it is the food you want then this is the place to go.

p.s. Princess is not easily pleased!

there is a huge chinese community to be found most weekend night at the nightclub in the Oasis Hotel.

You may also meet others behind the Ramada most nights of the week.

Welcome to sunny doha

the lady who sits at the cashier, i think is chinese, but their waiters are nepalese, atleast so they had told me when i had asked them, cos they do look chinese.

so is it chinese chefs preparing the chinese food or nepalese.

shudnt matter cos their food is good.

was salty dog referring to beijing restaurant near the ramada signal????

Great Wall seemed fairly authentic when I was there last, and the staff were actually Chinese. By contrast, there are no Koreans in the Korean restaurants.

there were a couple of chinese places. One was 'Great Wall'. It is behind ramada hotel, and there was another one whose name i do not remember, that was quite close to the 'cholesterol' signal too...

btw, Cholesterol signal is the same as ramada in case u did not know.
