Do they have playgroups or developmental activities for toddlers in Qatar?

Hi, we are thinking of moving to Qatar and i'm wondering if they have playgroups or activities etc for toddlers. My son loves playgroup and his music development class and I'm wondering if they offer the same type of activities in Qatar... or if i should start my own should we make the big move!

There is a bit of everything in Qatar.

Music School (behind lulu hyper)

variety of clubs and kids activities

also KGs have educational activities and summer programs.

Doha does have some music classes and other similar "developmental" classes. Gympanzee (in the Villagio) is a good place for them. The website called The Word (http://www.thewordinqatar.com) has some "structured playgroups" listed.

You might also want to check out Doha Expat Mums & Kids. We offer both structured and unstructured playgroups, in addition to many other activities. We're a bit slow right now because so many expats have left for the summer (myself included) but it will pick back up in September. http://www.dohaexpatmumsandkids.com
