Qatar Charity (Q.C) is a non-government organization which was established in 1980 by a group of Qatari trustworthy notables in order to develop the Qatari society and other needy societies.

Q.C is governed by law No (2) of 1974, which is amended by decree-law No (17) 1989, and law No (8) of 1998, which regulates work of private societies and foundations.

Q.C. is the oldest and biggest voluntary organization in the state of Qatar.
