Dog for adoption

By galaxys

I'm looking for a good person to adopt my pet dog. My family is leaving the country for good next week but we cannot take the dog with us. She is very sweet and playful and likes eating cheese. She's very adorable and smart.

Anyone interested, please contact 55423066.

Cheers to you Xena and your unconditional love for animals. but i think compared to other people, i am responsible enough to look for a new home for my pets. they are happy and safe now with their new owner.

i suggest you put up another QAWS-like institution so you can help more animals being dumped by irresponsible people like us.

How easy it is to apologise to someone that is dumping their pets (yes, its dumping, no matter what) when they start having a go at you.

The stories here don't add up, firstly and secondly, I am so tired of people dumping their animals before they leave the country, instead of doing the responsible thing and taking them with. It doesn't matter if you just found the dog. You took responsibility for it. Then when you decide to leave you decide to find a new home for it.

I have 6 dogs and 5 cats in my house. 1 of the dogs and 2 of the cats are being fostered (meaning I have to actively continue to look for homes for them) because they are not mine and the sooner they leave my home to their forever home, the better. I am not sitting back and just leaving it. When I leave I have to take 5 dogs and 3 cats with me. However, I have also resigned myself to the fact, that IF these three animals have not been rehome, they have to go with me - MY RESPONSIBLITY!!!!!

Hey galaxys, sorry for not phoning you back last night. My freind cannot accomodate another dog, he already have 4 that's why. Anyway, the dog has a new home and that's great.

yes she is nice with kids as i have sisters which are 9 and 13 y/o. but just like any other pet, you should introduce yourself first and make her familiar with you as she is very protective of her master which is in the nature of her breed. she's a terrier (just not sure exactly if she is wheaten). yes she is house trained, she doesn't bite on electronic wires, and will surely let you know when nature calls.

Hi, can you tell me if she is good with kids, house trained and what breed she is? (if any) Thanks

At least make sure that both animals are sterlized and vaccinated before you put them forward for adoption. Then at least they won't be used for breeding.

I couldn't imagine leaving without my beloved pets. Loyalty is a two way street.

please don't just give your dog to anyone..

give it to someone who can give the same care as you did.

i'm sure some heartless people will try to adopt your dog and make money out of it..

i wanted to adopt your dog but i dont have a place for him..

someone already adopted the cat. Originally he was also supposed to take the dog as well, but maybe he changed his mind.

let me repeat, i didn't adopt a persian cat. i offered my persian cat for adoption for the same reason that we are leaving.

flat wasn't for me, someone close just asked for help to look for a flat so as you can see the numbers posted on this ad and for the flat were different.

excuse me but to clear things here:

1. we didn't bring the dog here, someone just also asked us to adopt this pet few months ago, and to be fair with my family, we really took good care of her, she even sleeps on my own bed. but due to unavoidable circumstances, my family had to leave the country.

2. we don't plan to dump the dog that is why i posted this ad hoping for some dog lovers who would be willing to adopt her.

3. we earlier contacted QAWS but the rejected to take her saying that they have lots of dogs already. they were the ones who advised us to put up an ad for adoption.

Yes....Tracking option - You are looking for a new flat 2 days ago and then looking for a persian cat just over a week ago and now you are apparently leaving the country for good so need to rehome your dog?

Actually most of the families who are interested to have pets already got enough pets. Rest are the bachelor population who might be interested in pets but they don't have the facilities to have pets with them.

I agree with Xena.

I would even go so far as to offer to donate some money towards taking your dog home with you.

Please take her with you - there are so many homeless dogs here in Qatar.

it so late to put your dog up for adoption?

You are leaving next week and you only put it up for adoption now?

Why can you not take it with you, its a small dog, its not that expensive.
