Don't forget your eye test better to take it inside the traffic police they are not accepting outside test.

You can ask for temporary license..if you don't have Id yet.

I am not sure... better doublecheck.... i think you can use Dubai license for 1 month since you entered Qatar.

You can rent a car and drive as long as your on visit visa, employment visa. Once you get your bitaka(ID) your dubai driving license will be useless then you need to get the qatari driving license.

P.s you won't be able to get qatari driving license if you don't have I'd anyway

you mean, no document required from RTA in Dubai except the Driving Licence?

You said ID, but would ID take a month or so (i guess it comes after Medical result).

I would need it immediately to get a Car on Hire in the first week?

Can i get a hired car on Dubai's licence.

Theres documents you need to submit... Letter from your sponsor copy of your valid Dubai driving license and copy of your ID and fill a form at the Qatar Traffic department submit them with 50/-QR and you will get the qatari driving license the day after you submit them...

you better check with them to confirm the documents they request. as I totally forgot what else they requested..
