Has anyone recently had a baby in Qatar and applied for british passport?
Hey,
I would like to know if anyone has been through the process of applying for a british passport for a baby born in Qatar recently, could explain what needs to be done and timescale.
Embassy is not providing any useful guidance and procedure has changed over the recent months.

Hi Yes, I recently did my Babies.
You need to get the application form from the Embassy.
Get some decent pics of your baby, I did ours at home, lay him on a white sheet and took them.
Then put all your documents together which includes your childs original Birth Certificate and take to DHL the Passport office has a deal with them, and they will send your documents and deliver them, as they are processed in Germany.
