home made food away from home

KavitaSharma
By KavitaSharma

Its great when you can find someone to send you home made mouth watering food like straight out of mom's kitchen..... even when you're not in your home land.
Its been three years that i have been getting food from Manjari Doshi on and off. It started when i was pregnant and craved for home made food and by luck someone suggested her to me. She sent me food through out my pregnancy. I owe my baby's health to her. Her food is scrumptious and nutrious. She takes care of total taste and nutritional value of the food and hygiene, especially since her family has the same meals. She not only caters to daily meals but also to parties and mithai for the festive season and other ocassions. To sum up with, for all those from India who are missing moms cooking there's someone here who will make up for it. Not to forget, all of this is a perfect value for money. need to know more????? message me.....

Does she home deliver or do we have to pick it up ourselves? And what is the price range on a monthly basis?

I tried her food, Kavita. Its vety good. And the best part is that it actually tasted like home cooked food. I saw your post and wondered why I havent done that and informed more people. Im Indian, originally, married to an American, born n brought up in USA. Havent had ghar ka khana in ages, that some one else cooked!!! What a refreshing change. More n more nowadays, Im calling for food from Manjri. For those interested, she gave me her blogsite address. Its- http://foodforfriendsdoha.blogspot.com

and her number is 5553569.

And her mithai's are amazing!!!

She does monthly tiffins and takes orders for birthdays, parties etc. Takes orders for diwali mithai's 3weeks before diwali, I believe.

Definitely worth a try, guys. Even my kids are happy to eat authentic ghar ka khana, instead of my mixed american-indian cooking. They miss their grandma's cooking here in Doha, but Manjri's food has filled a gap for us.

Cheers, Kavita......Im with you.
