Internet safety tips for parents from ictQatar
We are all aware that the Internet with its many attractive functions comes with problems, especially in terms of privacy. Safe Space is an online campaign started in 2010 by ictQatar. It provides Internet users guidelines to better manage their personal information. It also has advises for parents on how to teach children.
The first tip says that parents should learn the username and password of their children's social media or email accounts.
Other suggestions include using parental control settings and keeping an open dialogue.
