Intestinal worm infection on kids in Qatar??

Dear parents,

I never facing this problem before, just reading about kids health. Is it possible for our kids to have intestine worm infection here in Qatar?

Back to my home country, kids are given anti-worm medicine for every 6 months. What about in Qatar, should I give my kids with this medicine for pre-caution? Since they love to play with the sand whenever we played at the corniche every Friday.

What is the counter available anti-worm medicine?

There can be several different types of intestinal parasites. Best to get checked by a physician and then get a proper medication prescribed if necessary.
