Liver Test before pregnancy

Hai folks.
My friend was advised by her lady gynecologist to have a liver test for not getting conceived. She is very much confused as why the doctor is asking such test as she is yet to have her first pregnancy since last 4 years. Please share your valuable information. Thanks...

As you have said your friend have not concieved for 4 years she and her husband .partner need investigation. liver function test is part of the battery of investigations that she will require.so not to worry it is routine.did her gynecologist requested any harmonal levels like 21 day progesterone to check ovulation??
