Nationalised HealthCentres

I am not sure if there was any announcements or notices in this regard but I was truly shocked when I went to the West bay health center today for my childs vaccination and they told my wife that the health center serves only Qataris. We have been in this health center for ages (from the time I was a child) and they didnt notify us or anything. Even for my new born who is two months old they had written this health centre on his green card. Anyways then we asked them to shift us to Muntaza or Muglina and they said they are also for Qataris. They wanted to shift us to Mesaimeer which is very far from where we stay. Then they said thats also full and shifted us to some health centre which is on the way to Al Khor. Anyways I will check with someone in the supreme council of Health if this is correct. But anyways if anyone had the same experience please share,

Insha Allah, we can pray for the best. That's good for all.

I've also been here 20 years and I know a lot of Qataris. Not all of them agree with the politics of their government.

I'm not talking about Qataris, nocomments, I'm talking about the Ministries of Qatar!

I have been here since a kid and now having spent almost 30 years with just a few years back home for studies... i cannot agree with you. I have always had nice times here in Qatar with lot of Qatari friends, and a lot of nice people around. Well behaved, and always lovable. The safety in this place is the one of the best in the world. Then these type of issues happen everywhere in the world. Sometimes better sometimes worse. And as I said the main intention of my post was to let those people who might go there know beforehand what you can expect. Thats it. No complaints, no regrets. God bless this country and its people.

All is correct those changes comes from the supreme council of health itself. It was implemented for several months now.

Now you've finally noticed: they don't give a shyte for expatriates. Got it?

Just noticed that the nationality was wrong. I have corrected it. Anyways I checked about it and this is right. They have made the west bay clinic only for Qataris. Thats fine. They are the citizens of this country and should have the right to all these first. My only complaint was that they could have notified this beforehand and not when you reach the clinic. This becomes painful when you adjust your office timings, the childs school etc for this and then finally have to go back.

Better correct your Nationality on your profile first, then we might believe your claim.
