Just remembering my maid in Dubai.She went to Srilanka and aborted her pregnancy as her husband did'nt bother to buy her oranges, though she asked for a full day due to nausea...(!)

She got pregnant twice from her Muslim Indian boy friend who was very(too very) loving. But he made her abort with some crude herbal stuff.

Later on she thought and hoped she would get pregnant when the families put the old husband and her together for about three days in Srilanka. She did'nt love or not even like him, but wanted a baby desperately.It did'nt work, thankfully.

Now she is married to a good Srilankan guy and I hope she is a mother by now, though with a lot of hidden skeletons in her closet.

She used to tell me if she had'nt aborted her first pregnancy, the child would have been 5-8 years now, even if the husband had left her.

In private hospitals they ask for marriage certificate before delivery of the baby. But the first time the person comes to a hospital, they ask for ID which will show wether she is married and on family visa. Also the doctor will ask how long she has has been married. It is a very big risk here, better to leave the country as soon as possible. If god forbid something happens and she needs emergency medical care, the hospital will report that she is not married and she will be put in prison.

I don't agree that if they marry there will be a problem. But get married first before presenting at the clinic.

Get married or leave the country (get abortion) before it is too late.

"getting" pregnant (will happen) or "got" pregnant (happened now)?

If you are pregnant...better talk to your boyfriend and get him to marry you...that would solve your problem.

Getting married is not the solution, the best solution is to leave the country as soon as possible.
