My wife is 6 weeks pregnant and its her first. She is on a business visit visa and was supposed to be travelling back to India by Aug 10.Does she need a doctor's fit for travel certificate to travel? If yes,can anybody suggest a good and economic clinic.Heard that, it'll cost more for check up because of her visa. Can any1 give me a average fees that's going to cost.

I checked the airline site but they have info of 26th week of pregnancy and above, not early stages of pregnancy.I know that it is not advisable for pregnant ladies to take x-rays.wt happens in the x-ray screener in the airport?

This is her first, and only 6 weeks, as long as she takes care of herself.  I believe she will fine (I am not a doctor but a mother of 3 and my hubby works for airline).  6 weeks is not showing so much, airline staff wont ask. 5 months would be asked of course, since its showing the baby bump.

You need to be extra careful during the first pregnancy.  Only a doctor can determine how safe it is for her to travel.  Dr. Maha in Doha Clinic is good and Dr. Rizvi in Al-Ahli hospital.

There could be impact on the woman or the child, but that is to ve verified by a good doctor.  It is better to go to a good doctor and pay a little more.  It is not wise to take short cuts in $ especially with the first pregnancy.

Wish you and your wife a smooth pregnancy and with you will be blessed with children.

6 weeks is nothing. She'll be fine, and she should be going through the xray machine - that's for bags!
