Prices of rides at Doha summer park slashed

People at the Doha Summer Fun Park
Huge crowds at the Doha Summer Fun Park, which opened last week, has prompted organisers to slash prices of amusement rides.
So far, over 40,000 visitors have been to the six-week event to enjoy numerous rides and unwind.
“We have seen large numbers of visitors come to the park since the opening last week and to ensure that summer continues to be fun and exciting for everyone who visits, we have organised a committee to visit the fun park and assess the rides and entertainment,” Qatar Tourism Authority chairman Ahmed al-Nuaimi said.
“As the result of our assessment and survey of visitors, we have decided to drop the prices of some of the rides,” he added.
The prices of some rides have dropped from QR15 to QR10, and one ride has dropped from QR10 to QR5.
Five rides are still priced at QR15, with the majority of the rides priced at QR10 or below.
All rides for children under the age of 10 are now priced at either QR10 or QR5.
Besides entertainment, the Fun City is also offering a huge shopping experience for residents.
About 70 companies from Qatar, China, India, UAE, Pakistan, Bahrain, Tunisia and Lebanon have merchandise for sale.
The QTA committee also reviewed the pricing and offering of food at the participating restaurants. Prices of meals will now range from QR15 –QR18 for children and QR25 for adults.
The venue opens from 3pm to midnight on weekdays while entry is permitted to families only until 1am on Thursdays and Fridays.
During Ramadan, the venue will be open from 8pm to 2am.
Entry to the fair, which runs until September 14 is free.

Frexie go to the Rainbow roundabout and turn towards the pearl. At the next roundabout on your right hand side.

For Rainbow Roundabout if you are standing in front of city center, there is a signal on your left, take right from that signal and you reach rainbow roundabout, take right from there.

Good decision to drop prices, considering that each ride is very very short. I put my kid on the horse and it took less than 1 minute for her to be back and costed QR10. In any case I'm not going there again. Chinese toys stuff are also expensive considering quality. Waste of money.
