Reg: Family Status

Hi ,

I am basically a Bachelor of engineering graduate. My profession in ID is Machine operator.Actual work is Project Engineer .Salary is 8000K+Family Accommodation(Company will provide) . Can i get family status with this profession. Because I heard that for technician profession ,immigration will pass visit visa only. And labour cant get any type of family visa. So please help me to know whether i have to tell my company to change my profession or not.Because if i get family status without any problem i dont have issues with this profession.

Thanks a lot all for your replies.I just want to know certain professions in Qatar the MOI wont allow family status ..Whether its possible to allow 'Machine operator' profession to bring family here? Whether it is in their allowed list? My salary is not a matter that I have 8K Salary + 2BR Flat (Co provided)

Check your profession if it's included in MOI "authorized profession".

@jjane karyll: 10,000 QR is required for minimum salary. Inclusive of basic salary + housing salary. It means total amount you received thru your bank. that is why they require 6 months bank statements.

actually there is an exception to the rule, whereas if you have QR7000 take home salary and company is providing family status and family accomodation. Then it should be okay!

YOU CAN ONLY GET FAMILY VISIT VISA BECAUSE YOU DID NOT REACH THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FAMILY RESIDENCE VISA WHICH IS AT LEAST 10K RIYALS BASIC SALARY...
