Don't worry buddy..She will be fine..Even i have travelled twice a time during my pregnancy..Just think positive..Try to follow what one QLer has responded of avoiding ne softdrinks, to put pillows etc etc..That will be a helping hand for her..Best luck for her safe delivery...

My wife went back home when she was 33 week pregnant (for 10 hour flight), and everything was OK. It's depend on your health condition. Just ask your doctor before you go fly.

hi man, first of all congratulations...

well its very safe to travel in flight at this point of time, just few tips ,to b on safe side..

1.give some homemade food ,to eat in flight

2.ask at check-in counter to give her the front row or the overwing exit row..there is lot of leg space for her to sit comfortably

3.put a pillow on her stomach, before putting the seatbelt inside the flight..sometime the landing or turbulance may hurt her...and plzzzzz tell her to put her seat belt on , for the whole flight..

4.avoid drinking any softdrink,or tea and coffee

5.the best thing is to fly with qatar airways, coz u can check-in online for her, and one more thing ..ask for a seat which is away from the window...seeing outside of it may make her feel dizzy..

take care

Doctors often advice to avoid travelling during the first thre months of pregnancy. My wife, however, had to travel when she was 12 weeks pregnant, and the flight was almost 6 hours long. Her doctor gave her some medicine to take before travelling.

It is advisable not to travel in the first 3 month of pregnancy; although many people do so and inshallah everything will go fine.

Make sure she is going through a normal pregnancy and she don't have blood pressure problems.

As long as your wife is in general good health, she can fly. I travelled throughout my pregnancy short and long haul flights as early as 5 weeks and as late as 8 months pregnant. Safe journey :-)
