Shadow for a young child with Down's Syndrom

It's a Qatari independent school for boys but this approach is being implemented in most independent school throughout the country.

Strom, the new modern trend is to integrate special needs into normal classes so that they get used to mixing with normal kids just as they will have to confront the whole of society when they grow up.

In the last school I taught, autistic children were kept with normal children in one class. They were however assigned shadow teachers to assist and guide them.

Actually that is what I was told by the mother of the girl.Actually I am inquiring for her.But ,yes that is what she was told, cause the manager of Oxford did see the girl and interviewed her, and it seems that she was ok.

hazem one question, oxford has agreed that they will take the girl with shadow teacher ??? as far as i know special kids are not encourged with mainstream schools....

i m glad frenchies has offered her services for the kid, but special need children are bit different than the normal ones and they require really a trained teacher for that ... no offense to frenchie..

plz consult omega centre , they once told me they can provide a shadow teacher ....
