Visa for new born baby

Hi,
I hope someone can advice me...
I'm 3 mnths pregnant, and planning to go back to my country to give birth. I will be back to qatar after 3 mnths with the newborn. What will be the procedures of getting visa for the newborn.

I was told that I must comeback within 1 month in order to get visa for the baby. Is this true? For your information, I've RP sponsored by my husband valid up to next August.

Thanks a lot.

We have just been through this. The baby should get a temporary visa on entry. Then you have to apply for residency (they need a stamped medical commission form plus blood type as well as passport). If the baby isn't born here you cannot apply for residency until they are three months old.

you can enter the country with baby(without any visa/baby),till baby is 3 month old.you need to get visa prior if baby has crossed 3 month. This was the rule till last year, dont know if it has changed.

I think that you just need ,after delivery , to send passport copy to your husband (he will be in Qatar) and he will must go under legal procedure to add child under his resident permission , it will not be complicated at all. Don't worry ! Take care about your self and baby !!!! Good luck

Don't forget vaccination card from your original country !!!
