WARNING - Maid - without pp and visa

if u hire a Maid (who doesnt hv pp and visa) and get caught......

where can we get continuation of above sentence. every body knows its illegal, WHATS THE PENALTY..... any website that clearly specify the rule....

we read many OPINIONS frm kind readers, but nobody gave the source, so that this forum can be utilized as a WARNING for the families thinking abt it. Frankly, i didnt know the rule and wanted to hire, but now no as its big risk, but curious to know panalty.

kindly suggest the source of rules to all readers.

Up to a 50,000qr fine for knowingly hiring an illegal maid. Or at least that is what the Gulf Times reported about a year ago when there was a crackdown. I've never met anyone prosecuted for it, however.Still, it's illegal, and I would strongly advise against it.
