Where to dispose off the old news papers?

By yousafnoor

I want to dispose off the old newspapers which are being accumulated on a regular basis!

Can anyone tell me that where to discard them?
May be there is a better way to dispose them off, rather than putting them in trash skips on the roads!

kittyet22 said Recycling in Doha ...

Hi Everyone...

SOrry for the late reply. was pretty tied up for a while sorting stuff. Please find below contact details. Just introduce yourself and ask them about recycling. They'll request a formal letter for you to fax them regarding your intent and location of pick-up point. 1.5m x 1.5m steel mesh recycling bin will be provided by them and must be situated at outside premises of the building or compound. They have been collecting recyclables from dozens of companies now.

My laundry guy is happy to take them.

If a container load can be collected then many paper manufacturing mills can pay good amount for the same. I can arrange that. But main problem is collection and making payments for the used papers.

Irani or Pakistani Tandoor.. they will take it happily.

If you don't know I can tell you some location which might be near your home or else you can ask on QL.
