must be an expensive fridge...some people like repair shops buy this kind of stuff, they check the problem on the item first and negotiate with the price, they buy it, repair it then sell it again.

Wasnt there a joke that a guy was giving away his fridge for free and no one wanted it, and then he puts a price tag on it and keeps it in his front yard and the next day it was stolen :P same strategy i suppose :p
