they cant run taxi without authorities approval on their own... there might be security involvement issue in big cities... cant guess its reality or fun!!

The taxi is actually in Santiago City, Isabella Province. This is very close to where my wife comes from, and is staying just at the moment, before she comes over here.

One thing I can say, they must definitely be in a quiet area of Santiago, as that place normally heaves with traffic, as it is a bit of a regional hub for transportation.

I'm going to tell you something hilarious and truth , their company started with that taxi and right know they own 6 taxi cars, The difference is that they did hired Pinoy drivers with better pay per trip (km), including limo services and home pickup.

I did visited and met them personnaly,they are great younh minds in business, mannerism and good humor.

PS

they all wear uniforms....

but everybody avails the cheap option... so why don't people get in to reach their destination in 10 pesos just... :)

not scared.. its just unusual. they're wearing undershirts while driving taxi. and the fare is too cheap, its suspicious.

they're like in the amazing race where they have to do some challenges and this is one of them..especially with the camera detailing their every move..yep..it is indeed hilarious..who would have thought they will be coming to the Philippines and become taxi drivers..but hey, it's an honest job...so goodluck guys!

WK - thats harsh. its just so nice hearing tagalog words (and almost gets the accent right) from foreigners.

did you miss me? :P

@ britex - btw, 10 pesos is not even 1 QR. :)

By plushed• 1 Aug 2010 21:11

it is a joke, i think. no one will take their offer. :P

I am fine girl. Good to see you again :)

They should not try that in my part of the world. People will think these white guys are mocking them and they can lose their car and few broken bones :)

Two white guys offering cheap rides and still no takers ?

It must be a joke :O)

britexpat & honda 86 - i think theyre just experimenting though. who drives a taxi wearing their undershirt? lol. people will not believe them, even get scared/misunderstand.

By shapil• 1 Aug 2010 21:06
shapil

i dont think they will go there for money...there are other things relatively cheap, easily available with abundant supply there that drive men as much as money if not more.

By plushed• 1 Aug 2010 21:04
plushed

hi WK .. been busy :) how are you?

.. uhm, i cant really translate it well. :P

though i can say,

Cauayan is a place in Isabela province and theyre offering 10 pesos for a taxi fare which is really cheap thats why nobody takes their offer. :)

pasahero = passenger

tara na, sakay na = come and ride

aalis na = departing

sungit naman = stern

libre = free

hope it helps :)
