A Central jail in Kerala is making almost 25000 Rupees per day from Chapatis. Prisoners of Pujappura Central Jail in the southern Indian State of Kerala are making chapatis. The Jail authorities has sold 16000 Chapatis on Christmas Day. A newspaper report mentioned that the demand is increasing day by day as the Jail authorities opened Chapati outlets from where the public can buy their Chapati requirements. Wedding Parties, College Students etc. are their main customers and it was told that yesterday 21500 Chapatis were sold. Jail authorities were able to make almost 2 lakh rupees so far from the sales since they started the chapati making unit recently.
Good news, may be they all change their minds slowly by making chapati's and no more being criminals...
that's a good thing. If jail has to feed them and provide the roof above their heads, then they should work to make money for it
