Indian v/s American - family problems

Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar and discussing about their family problems.

The Indian man said to the American, 'We have problem in India we can't marry the one whom we love, You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven't even met once.' We call this arranged marriage. I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love... I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems.'

The American said, talking about love marriages... In America We can marry the one whom we love ......I'll tell you my story. 'I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years. After a couple of years, my
father fell in love with my step-daughter and married her,so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law.

Legally now my daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother. More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is myfather's brother and so he is my uncle.

Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son, my brother is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grandfather and I am my own grandson.”

AND YOU SAY YOU HAVE FAMILY PROBLEMS

The Indian fainted........!!!

Problems are everywhere not just India and America.. As someone very rightly said.. Shaadi woh laddoo hei jo khaaye woh pachtaye aur jo naa khaaye woh bhi pachtaye or jo naa khaaaye woh lalchaaye.. Marriage is the basis of every problem fo humanity.. My married friends are always complaining about their husbands, children and especially their maa in law.. On the other hand, single women like me always complain of not having someone in their lives.. So no matter what, a human being is never satisfied..

Family problems are due to problems of marriage. the basic institution of marriage has become outdated.

How was family life 500 years back. 1000 years back.

we are living in a set of rules which are not meant for today.

200 yrs back the way men and women used to stay and their relevance in society was very different.

so its all changing and we need just see it and find our way and live happily.

the dream of love mite not be there for everyone but yes finding happines can be a possibility

You think Indians don't have family problems???

I couldn't marry my first girlfriend because she had the same last name that my mother had before marriage, I couldn't marry my second girlfriend because she had the same last name that my grand mother had before marriage. I couldn't marry my third girlfriend because she had the same last name as the guy who established our village 950 years ago. I couldn't marry my 4th girlfriend because she didn't have the last name that is approved for me to get married to. I couldn't marry my 5th girlfriend because she was of a lower caste than us. I couldn't marry my 6th girlfriend because she was of a different religion.. Now I have given up on marriage.

Atleast in America they are getting married to someone....
