I find Mods are Irrationale- Earlier when they were sleeping, now when they're over-active (trigger happy). Silencing the SANE voices is never appreciable!!

I can understand when any kind of bashing comment/ thread is deleted or going to the extend of deleting "bashable"threads, but my thread on reporting a facebook scam was axed in it's infancy 3 times!:(, wonder why???

I was not banned. Just the thread got deleted, because racist idiots posted racist comments in the discussion and tried to draw other QLers into the attacks. Some of them are on this thread now saying how they love the mods.

Mods said I was bating by posting a year-old story, but not so. If mods bothered to read the OP and follow the link they would see that the ATTACK on the Muslim family happened a year ago but the trial was just starting. That is why the Scottish Herald newspaper published the story YESTERDAY and that is the story I linked.

well Khatak it was a quiet and romantic atmosphere at QL last night, and the winds were blowing and rains drops were falling on my screen, when all of a sudden a forum was thorwn into the arena.and then another forum, and was directed towards hurting a certain group of people.

Well, to cut the story short, a MOD commented to the forum "THIS IS LAST YEARS's STORY.AND THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING".then te forum sublimed and then another forum sublimed and then eventually a user's ID got the OOOpppss thingy.

But if i'll be the judge then not being biased i would say its the winds of change.

Khatak, trust me when i say this, talking of "human beings" Homo sapiens (not hummus and not homos) but pure God fearing Humans they do unite when they see injustice irrespective of race,nation or religion.

Actually when someone bashes my country.....he/she kind of unites us as a nation for a while (atleast). It always makes me more stronger when I see comments full of hate for my country or nation.

tinkerbell i agrease(agree) with you, not everyone can be pleased.But, please do read certain comments posts by some QLers which are posted for the sake of them getting at a religion, race or nation.I personally am a God fearing person and i hate when religion, be it mine or anyone elses, is challenged or demeaned.

You just can't go out and tell a person that what you have been following is wrong.If you want to make an impression then a civilized debate is the best option, and by civilized debate i mean a debate face to face not through comments or posts.QL is a site where you could post a comment so people will get attracted to the beauty of the expat's intellecuality at QL and not to the Nuisency.

But i personally agree to what the MODs achieved yesterday.MODs you made me a fan now.

Tinker.....I've been on QL for quite long now. If even a kiddo were in my place, he would identify the regular offenders quite easily. I am all in favor of complete deletion of the thread, the moment its posted. You can easily understand the intentions of the poster from the Thread starting post.

Thats asking for too much. Its practically impossible in the current scenario. MODs real identity should be either unknown to ALL or known to ALL. They should not intereact with other users socially...or should not disclose their QL Identity that they use as MOD.

naseerhammed...I am not sure as to the timing of those threads as you say...but I have seen and commented on a few early in the morning... I havent been follwoing them so closely but if you say what you say about the comments then there seems to be a few Qlers who deliberately try to get such threads blocked/ deleted... they should be picked and banned or their comments deleted if they are intended to turn those threads into bashing etc rather than deleting the thread.

Weak are the those who can not withstand their flaws !!!!

Mods simple rule, QL is for expats in Qatar to know each other not for them to bash each other.Users who persistanly post forums for the sake of creating a Nuisance(nocence) and racial prejudice should have their forums deleted and their ID's warned and then blocked on the third offense.

for instance las night when 2012 olympics created a forum that was dated 1 year back just for the sake of creating a troublesome forum.

i say MODS do your best, basher's and troublemakers should have their reward.
