85-year-old woman beats coronavirus in Qatar, MoPH announces

As the country utilizes all resources to combat the virus, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) shared delightful news on its social media pages yesterday.
An 85-year-old Qatari female has successfully beat the COVID-19 and left Hamad Medical Corporation's Communicable Disease Center (CDC) recently.
She "is believed to be the oldest person in the country who has recovered from COVID-19," MoPH stated.
In a heart-warming video, the CDC staff is seen bidding farewell to the female patient who has recovered from COVID-19.

According to the video, "In mid-March after complaining of a fever and cough, the woman was diagnosed with COVID-19 and admitted to the CDC for treatment.
Earlier this week, she was discharged from the hospital after two consecutive tests confirmed she had been cured of the virus," the video highlights.
A group of senior doctors and nurses gathered to say goodbye to the special patient.
Meanwhile, health authorities in Qatar continue to implement the highest level of monitoring, detection, and management procedures to deal with the virus, the public has been advised to follow certain measures to safeguard their health.
