Advise for Quiloid Please
Something related to medical field please. Last year while we were in UAE, my baby-boy (now aged 3)fell down and injured. 3 stitches made above his upper lips(in between nose and upper lip). The scar was not that much visible in that time. but last 6 month onwards, we noticed the scar growing. Means itz quiloid. We consulted Plastic Surgeon. He Gave some ointment(Contratubex), Didn’t work out. Consulted Mascilofacial Surgeon, gave another ointment. Didn’t work out. Finally here in Qatar, we consulted Skin Specialist at Al Rafa Clinic,Did 3 injection on the affected area (in 2 week interval). But now we feel nothing better.
So am totally worried. What my concern is that while i asked to masicilofacial that ‘to whom shall i consult, he told that its mascilo. While i asked the same to plastc surg, he told that its plastc surg . The same with the skin. Everbody saying that they are apt for it. So request your kind advise.
try using aloe vera gelly.though i'm not sure if it will work faster because it's already an old scar.we have recommended the gelly for people who have undergone operation to avoid kelloid from their stiches and the results are promising.
there are instances that a person who was bruised will have a keloid on the affected area for the reason that he has aa keloidic skin. even if we opt to remove it by surgery the tendency is once you have a bruise again it will have still keloids on the area.
