I called Al-Ahli hospital last week for the same, and the lady told me they don't have a Dermatologist, "but maybe in August". So either they have one, and he/she is on vacation, or one is being recruited.
So I too am still looking, and will check that other thread.
Usage of English language is not that important for Doctors, I presume. I often wonder while communicating with Doctors. As long as they don't give a wrong prescription and they take care of my health, I wouldn't mind their language.
A few weeks ago a QLer (gypsy) asked for information about dermatologists in Doha. You may find something to help you in that thread. Gypsy is an English speaker (well, Canadian-English anyway hee!) but I don't know who she went to in the end.
Not sure about Al Ali but I had to visit a dermotologist 2 weeks ago and she was fab. Dr Hassan Al Abdulla (near Lulu at Old Airport). Speaks perfect english and I turned up for a consultation and she did the procedure then and there. Fantastic service.
