See a physician and get a T3 T4 TSH done for your wife, soon. The Thyroid gland can create havoc in our bodies, especially after childbirth. All the best.

I only know diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and exercise to lose weight.

All i did was exclusively breast feed my baby till he was 6 months without even giving him water . That helped me loose my weight. Breast feeding alone consumes about 450 calories per day. My baby is now 16 months and I am 5'3" and weigh 50kg. I think this is reasonable. :-)

In your case, baby is already 5 months, so i think light exercise with proper diet would do the trick.

Well, she can try to drink green tea, a few cups a day. Of course, cannot exclude exercise and healthy diet. It's nice to have a supported husband. She is very lucky to have you.

I gained about 75 kg my first one also and 65 the second one. It takes awhile to get the weight back to normal.

Best wishes.

yeah exercise will be fine but she should lessen her food intake. what i did b4, oatmeal for breakfast, more fruits (if your baby's breasfeeding), they say, she should eat fruits w/ vit. c "moderately". i'm 5'3" and when i was pregnant, i weigh 66 kgs.. but now, i weigh 57kgs (little bit fat.he he). or see a dietician.
