Last six months i visited hamad hospital to seek medical attention and they give me schedule three months before i can see the doctor i wait for three months, finally the doctor meet me in his clinic and he give me medicine prescription, and again they give me another three months for my revisit check up and again i have to wait, finally the doctor is in and he refer me to labtest and ultrasound, before i can take the said labtest and ultasound again i have to wait for two months, finally the labtest and ultrasound is done but again i have to wait for another month to meet the doctor in his clinic by that time only he can check my labtest and ultrasound results.this is fair??????? for the expat just like me who seek medical attention in the said hospital.

I know how ya feel, yeah in Hamad appointments and getting your results takes a month simply because they normally give next appointment after 4wks. Crazy!(unless is emergency).

The worst case is when the doctor asks ya to get your next appointment at the reception (OPD)and they tell ya that they are overbooked and ya should call after two wks and get an appointment. The numbers they give are ever engaged and the timings for appointments booking is 1300-1400hrs.

Trust me ya can go for months with no appointment.

I wish ya a speedy recovery.
