This was in the paper last week...

Six Senses Spa, Doha welcomes Naturopathic Physicians to Doha as part of the Six Senses visiting Practitioners Programme.

Doha 19 April, 2009 - Six Senses Spa, Doha welcomes visiting Naturopathic physicians, Dr. Nishant Rao and Dr. Arin Rao to Doha from 18 April until June 1, 2009. Six Senses and its Visiting Practitioner’s scheme will see, for the first time, Dr. Nishant Rao and Dr Arin Rao visit the Doha Spa for a period of 6 weeks. Both Doctors will be available to treat guests and visitors at the Spa in Homeopathic Transformation, Holistic Wellbeing, Body Reconstruction and many more alternate therapies.

Six Senses Resorts & Spas the world over are committed to the rejuvenation of people’s love of SLOW LIFE* (Sustainable- Local- Organic-Wholesome Learning - Inspiring- Fun- Experiences) and both visiting physicians aim to play their part in ensuring that guests and visitors to the Spa achieve their personal health goals through these therapies.

Both Dr. Nishant Rao and Dr. Arin Rao completed their naturopathic medical degrees at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in the United States. Dr. Arin has spent her 5 years in medical school specializing in homeopathic medicine, and has completed a 3-year apprenticeship, studying a unique and revolutionary style of homeopathy called the “Sensation Method” developed by Dr. Rajan Sankaran in Mumbai, India... Dr. Nishant has focused his studies in herbal medicine and hands on healing including reiki, structural integration, and spinal manipulation & alignment. He has found in his naturopathic practice that this hands on body work achieves pain relief and healing at the deepest level. Working together, they combine their skills and deliver a truly holistic healing experience using homeopathy, nutrition, herbal medicine and chiropractic work, to heal chronic and acute illnesses, address your health concerns, and to help you achieve your fullest potential.

Six Senses Spa, Doha , Director Marteyne van Well said, “This is a truly unique experience that both Dr.Nishant Rao and Dr Arin Rao bring to Doha and the Six Senses Spa Doha. The Visiting Practitioners scheme allows the Six Senses to rotate it’s wealth of experience from property to property around is vast network. Naturopathy in the west is heralded as the superior alternative to traditional, western medicine. We are very excited to be bringing two fabulous and talented physicians to members of the community in Doha.”

Do you know any other chiro? I called Dr Cyrus clinic and i was told that the first visit is 700 qrs then it is 400qrs for each visit. Very expensive! I used to go to a chiro in Canada and the fee was around 40 CAN$ = 120 qrs.

Definitely Dr. Cyrus, he is great doctor and i highly recommend him from my personal experience, the pain amoud is talking about is a method Dr. Cyrus uses called trigger points therapy which he explained to me and gave me the choice of not receiving it but then explained to me that means more visits and takes time to get the results he uses them to help releasing the muscle spasm. Little pain yes but great results. He gives full spine adjustment with his hands to help the whole body . in my first visit i felt great after having to live with headache and shoulder pain for long time. Now am free of pain just started my wellness care program where i see him once every 2 or 3 weeks.

Yes his staff is great and he is the one personally taking care of his patients every single visit.

my friend been to Dr. Sharon he said she doesn’t really do full body adjustment but uses small device in her hand that clicks on specific bones.

Call Dr. Cyrus , i met someone in his office the other day and we talked he said he feels great and 3 sessions with Dr. Cyrus worth 17 years of treatment with others.

His office # 451 4343

Good luck

I have gone to Shereen and to Dr. Cyrus. I was very pleased with Shereen but every other visit I would get her masseuse, and to be honest I didnt enjoy paying chiro fees for a masseuse.

Cyrus is kinda "no pain no gain". He helped me out a great deal but the treatment was excruciating to say the least. His clinic is great, staff are great and you get him every time you step into the office.
