Welcome to Qatar mann!!honestly I too faced the same shity feeling when I grounded here a year back but thanks to my exploring interests, I just wouldn't stay indoors and would take random spins in my car to some place I felt like..Anyways for starters like u places like Trader Viks and the beach party at Four Seasons every Thursday could cheer you up(ciah around here!!) and then ..haha..finish these and the fun follows ..not to forget the Sheeha cafes around here too set the mood up!! There's lots to do out here..so love this place sometimes!!

Just remember....Everyone is in charge of their own happiness, cant ask anyone to do things for you.

you need to feel happy and thankful for what you have. it is understandable how you feel.. But It takes time to adjust to new places anywhere you go in life.

Not having a car etc, ok np, this is modern country, there is public transportation, and taxis.

So you can adjust and get out and see Qatar, or sit home as life passes you by. I also was very independent, had my own car etc. but you can be positive and see the opportunities that brought you here, and soon you will be fine.

welcome to Qatar. we are all here friendly and ready at anytime to be your friend which would make you more happy and comfy. me and my wife thought of going to Cornish have a walk if you would join us not a problem drop me a pm and we can pick u up otherwise qlers always do gathering and they meet each other you can also join... you might feel its hard at the beginning but once you make friends you will be alright and feel like Doha is your 2nd home all about time. you can also try to hang out with your colleagues at work and from there your friends will expand day after day
