this was exactly wat i wanted to say... i missed my only sister's engagement as well... but my mum had a tab with her... i was watching it live from Kuwait (was in Kuwait that time)... It made me feel at home at least by 60%... durig this era there is always a way to make things possible... :)

chetana, if any of ure family having a laptop or phone with internet then u will be able to see the event, thts the best way to see everything live, I too used to do so when my niece's birthday.. u will feel like ure there withem instead of thinking how they are dressed and wht food they r giving and and and....,as many said its an engagement so dnt miss the wedding :)

Very true dear! That was sadly the case when my beloved uncles died in less than 12hrs apart, four years ago. Couldn't afford the ticket fare back then so didn't go for their funerals =(

Guess these are the sacrifices we have to make because of the choices we make in life in order to make our own lives better.
