Is the price different depending on what Insurance company? I'm paying 500QR with my current insurer, I was wondering if there are any cheaper options. Also what insurance company is inside the FAHES facility? I find it very convenient if you can renew both insurance and istimara in just one place.

500 Riyals is odd. It used to be 400 QR for a four-cylinder engine, 600 QR for a six-cylinder and 800 QR for an eight-cylinder engine. Maybe they've changed it now.

No. The cost of third party insurance coverage in Qatar is the same with all insurance companies. I believe the charge is fixed by the government. There are several insurance companies which operate in or around the Fahes area and you need to just look around.
