Awqaf calls for sighting of the Ramadan crescent tomorrow

The Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called upon all Muslims living in Qatar to sight the crescent of Ramadan on Tuesday evening, Shaaban 29, 1439 AH, corresponding to May 15.

The Committee said whoever witnesses the crescent should head to the headquarters of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Dafna (Towers) area to report his testimony, reported The Peninsula.

The Committee will meet immediately after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer.
