Duo arrested in Qatar after shopping using forged credit cards

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two Asians after they were found using forged credit cards to make some purchases.

"CID has arrested two Asians after they attempted to make some purchasing using credit cards that were suspected to be forged," the Ministry of Interior tweeted.

The Ministry also posted a picture of the duo with the items seized on its Twitter account and Facebook page. This is another job well done by Qatar's Criminal Investigation Department.

In November last year, Qatar CIDs busted an international gang of credit card fraudsters. One of the gang member was caught with 48 forged cards to purchase expensive items at Duty Free in Hamad International Airport.

In cases of forged credit card purchases, a local bank usually gets an alert about suspected credit card transactions and tips off the police.

Yes, there are some nations here who come under "favoured lot." The Editor shies away while mentioning their nationalities. Unfortunately, Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalis, Sri Lankans do not fall in that group.

The Editor is biased ........ agree with you waqas if its Indian, Pakistani or Nepali or Sirilankan they would take no time to mention it in bold letters, same goes with GCC national.

People should understand the shame with drugs, frauds, illegalities, et ce tra. Just ask God to direct your path n I bet you, there won't be no time to think of any crime.

Finding out their country of origin ain't necessary, we can all try to make the world a better place. I ain't perfect buh I try to go by good examples. It pays much more!

One love!!!

I am sorry to hear that, and i am not being rude or obsessed or angry but just a question: why wont you say "Philippines duo"?? but if it was indian or Pakistani or SriLankan, you would put that in the Title of the article.
