A 26-year-old Indian expat has died in a road accident when his car got sandwiched between two trailers on the Wakrah-Corniche road.

The victim was identified as Prajo Joseph and sources said he had been working in a construction firm for the past three years.

The accident was reported by Gulf Times as happening late Thursday evening.

Joseph, who was in Qatar for close to three years, was a safety officer with his company.

He was a native of Kavanad in Kerala’s Kollam district. Joseph leaves his wife and parents.

His wife was supposed to join him later this month.

A memorial service was held for Joseph at Hamad Hospital mortuary at 2pm Monday, said his uncle John Francis Gregory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his families and loved ones. We urge everyone to take care on the roads and to obey all traffic laws.
