Planning on eating out this weekend? Then make sure you eat in one of these restaurants and lend a helping hand to those suffering in Syria.

This Friday, that is May 6, some restaurants and eateries in Qatar will be contributing 100 percent of their income to all those stuck and stranded in Syria’s Aleppo.

Earlier this week, Katara announced in its official Twitter platform that along with Qatar Charity, its outlets will donate 100% cash revenue to Aleppo.

Some of the participating restaurants in this campaign are, eateries at Katara Cultural Village and Aspire Park, such as Chapati & Karak, L’wzaar Seafood Market, le Vesuvio Italian Restaurant, Chac’Late, Burgeri and Salad Boutique, among others.

Also, Doha News reports that Aspire Katara Hospitality (AKH) CEO Kholoud Al-Hail said “We hope we will also be able to encourage the people of Qatar in joining us in making a difference for the people of Syria.”

Furthermore, BBC reports that the situation in Aleppo “catastrophic” after many were killed and more are being stranded in the under-siege city.

For those who doubt ....... Do good & forget it ................ when you donate then don't look back if somebody will recognize you or not ....

By organising an event such as this is it sure to be in more peoples minds thus increasing charitable donations. Whether you eat to donate or donate separately, all the money going to this cause will be greatly appreciated.

There is one aspect to be wary of - Where does your money go ?

If you participate in this initiative, then i assume the money will be channeled through bona fide charities.

If you donate yourself, then how do you judge where its going ?

Nice suggestion sharif, it makes more sense to do this. But nonetheless a good initiative must be appreciated. Kudos to all the restaurants and business participating in this endeavor.

Khan,

What I was thinking too. Don't eat out just make a donation.

Yes.

Atleast sharif x fitted with 1979 engine is intelligent.

Instead eating out on Friday have your lunch or dinner at home with your loved once. Donate all what you want to spent on dinner out to help Aleppo.

WT: Thats partly right. But there are many companies with even less than 10 employees implemented WPS. And for those who have not implemented yet are recieving notice from MOI regardless of number of employees.
