HMC hospitals announce operating hours during Eid holidays
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours of its hospitals during the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
All emergency services across HMC’s network of hospitals will continue to operate as usual, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All Outpatient Department (OPD) clinics will be closed from July 5 to 7 and will reopen on July 10 after the weekend.
At Hamad General Hospital, all OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from July 5 to 7.
Women’s Hospital OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from July 5 to 7. However, high-risk clinic appointments scheduled for July 3 and 4 and July 10 to 12 will take place as scheduled.
The hospital’s pharmacy will operate as usual 24 hours a day throughout the holidays.
Al Khor Hospital OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from July 5 to 7 July and will re-open on July 10. The Accident and Emergency Department Pharmacy will be open 24 hours a day. All urgent cases, including medications refill, during this period should proceed directly to the emergency units.
Al Wakrah Hospital Emergency Department including the Adult See and Treat Unit, Paediatric Emergency as well as emergency and inpatient pharmacies will remain open throughout the break. OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from July 5 to 7 and re-open on July 10.
The Cuban Hospital OPD clinics and pharmacy will be closed from July 5 to 7 and re-open on July10. The Emergency Department including the pharmacy will remain open 24/7 and its service will include dispensing urgent prescription refills.
National Centre for Cancer Care and Research Clinics will be closed from July 5 to 7 and re-open on July 10.
From July 10 to 12, evening clinics will be cancelled and all clinics are moved to the morning session. The Day Care Unit will be closed on July 5 and 6 but radiotherapy will operate as usual. The Urgent Care Unit will operate 24/7 and will continue to provide assistance and assessment to patients during the holidays.
Heart Hospital clinics will be closed from July 5 to 7 and re-open on July 10 with a limited schedule. Patients booked for some clinics will be contacted individually to confirm their appointments.
Rumailah Hospital OPD clinics will be closed from July 3 to 10 and will re-open on July 11.Mental Health Services clinics will be closed from July 5 to 7 and will re-open on July 10.
The Hamad Customer Service Centre (Nesma’ak) will be closed from July 5 to 7 and will re-open on July 9 from 10 am to 6 pm.
