The latest figures of those serving jail sentence was based on the visit of an Indian embassy team to the Central Prison earlier this month.

Shame on Qatar and shame on the Indian government for putting money before life
I really feel sorry for my country men, they are exploited and humiliated ,just because of our ignorant dumb government who does not care for their own citizens ,because that is a shocking high number of deaths, almost 1 Indian guy die daily and nobody cares........I really feel dispirit and dishearten cause of my government policies!
I blame the Indian govt. to participate in modern day slavery. Just because the population control is out of their hands, this might be a solution for it or something. But it is their fault for sending Indians to Qatar and allowing them to earn 200 dollars a month when the cost of living is clearly 200 times more than what they get paid. Indian govt. needs to crack down on those a**holes at employment agencies that make money off these poor uneducated people.
