Ministry announces six-hour working days for private staff during Ramadan period
The Ministry Of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has called on companies and establishments to reduce working hours to six hours per day during the holy month of Ramadan, reported Gulf Times.
MADLSA said it will receive complaints from employees of companies that are not implementing the provisions of the Labour Law through its various communication channels, including its hotline service, e-mail, or its accounts on social media.
Earlier, the official working hours for the public sector in Qatar during Ramadan had been announced.
